SINGLE REVIEW:

Las Vegas based Singer/Songwriter LexRox releases her latest single “Go All In” in 2012. LexRox is no stranger to the music business. She has been singing since she was only three years old and began performing at age 8. She has countless performances under her belt from multiple school events, talent competitions, corporate dates, and charity events. In 2009, she began her professional stage debut with a performance with Disney star Raven-Symone at the Arizona State Fair. Since then, she has shared the stage with Cody Simpson, Mindless Behavior, Charice, IYAZ, Jackson Guthy, The Carter Twins, and has headlined concerts of her own. This latest single was produced by Produced by 6 time Grammy Nominated Producer Rodney Alejandro.

The single wastes no time and quickly takes off with its infectious beat, against well placed bass driven groove and methodical vocal build featuring LexRox front and center. The single itself is an impressive blend of Dance Pop, Power Pop and even a dash of and Techno and Trance. What I like the most about this single is its overall marketability as it touches many musical genera’s without trying to hard. The production touches and sampling is clearly above the bar. You will also notice impressive keyboard and synthesizer accents along the way with impressive sonic vocal touches and catchy sound effects against a grand slam chorus. The vocal reinforcements mix up the single well providing a vocal delivery that provides much in the way of sonic variety. The transition into the rap-type bridge before the finale chorus is flawless. Now turning our attention over to LexRox she has much to offer (visuals and vocals) and her sound will remind you of the usual suspects Brittany Spears, Pixie Lott, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez. The lyrics have a bit of urban swagger you would expect from a single of this caliber. The actual songwriting is effective and provides a lot of musical variety and emotion.

It’s fair to say LexRox doesn’t possess a gold standard vocal ability. This can be executed regardless of the style of music and regardless of the piece of music. I like the attitude and reckless abandonment you get from him LexRox but it’s fair to say she plays it safe throughout the single avoiding any serious risks that would showcase a world class vocal ability. Again this can be executed regardless of the style of music.

From start to finish this latest release from LexRox is an impressive snapshot of music. At the end of the day it packs a powerful punch. It has an attitude problem and lyrics that make the case pushing you hard. The song is consistent, well-crafted, melodic, entertaining and stays with you long after the song is over. The production strokes of this song are effective - my hats off to the production virtuoso of Rodney Alejandro. In close LexRox has the  look, sex appeal, persona and voice to potentially gravitate a large fan base in 2012.  No doubt this single is well positioned to make a splash this Summer.
